Context & concept
Atmosphere becomes the brief.
Before deciding the shape of a space, we consider what people should feel, what they should remember, and the sequence in which the world should unfold. Material, temperature, light, sound, and scent come together to form a world unique to the project.
Spatial design
Rooms & Suites
Each room is designed not only around view and function, but as a place for entering more deeply into the world of the project.

Mossveil Suite
Wrapped in the presence of the moss garden and the scent of wood, this room offers the deepest expression of Mossveil’s stillness.

Moss Garden Suite
Facing a garden of moss-covered rock, this suite leaves the soft afterimage of a damp green landscape.

Wood Shadow Suite
Timber shadows meet the presence of the garden, allowing the light at the window to deepen the rhythm of the stay.
Guest experience
Rituals & sequences
From anticipation and arrival to the stay and the memory after departure, small rituals are designed as experiences continuous with the space.
01Morning Zazen
As morning light reaches the garden, breath settles among the textures of tatami and wood.
02Moss Garden Walk
Wet moss, stone paths, and quiet water sounds let stillness settle into the body with every step.
03Tea Stillness
Attention turns to the scent of tea and the gestures of the hands, allowing the quiet interval to be fully felt.
04Steam Bath Ritual
Steam, stone, and water sound soften the breath. Warm air and cool stone leave a quiet afterimage in the body.
05Incense Listening
Follow a fine line of smoke and listen through scent, moving gradually away from the pace of the outside world.

Stay
Feel time move beside the moss garden.
Damp green, the scent of wood, and soft signs from outside gradually bring the senses into focus.

Bath / Wellness
Breath deepens within the steam.
Steam, stone, and the scent of wood create a quiet bathing space made for surrendering to warm air.

Dining
Taste the land at the edge of the forest.
Ingredient, vessel, and aroma are composed with restraint, connecting the aftertaste of each course to the memory of the stay.
